Our Programs

We believe in giving people and things the opportunity to have a fresh start. Our Second Chance Program helps people learn new skills while making a difference in our environment.
Helping homeowners tackle tough exterior projects
Habitat for Humanity Greater Salt Lake Area's Service Team for Exterior Projects (S.T.E.P.) program utilizes volunteers to help low-income homeowners who, because of age, disability, and family circumstances, are unable to address exterior maintenance and repair issues. This program serves homeowners in Salt Lake, Tooele, and Davis Counties. To be eligible, homeowners must fall in the low-to-moderate income category, be US Citizens or legal resident aliens, and have one or more challenges that prevent them from addressing issues on their own.
